Job description
Develop the sales of dairy products and services in his/her territory, in accordance with the
commercial strategy defined by the company.
COMMERCIAL STRATEGY
Take part in the definition of the commercial strategy with the Managing Director
- Collect information about the market, competitors, products, customers.
- Be proactive and propose ways of development across his/her territory.
- Ensure pricing coherence across customers and respect margin targets set by the Managing Director
SALES & PROSPECTION
Carry out an active prospection and develop the sales across his/her territory
- Define and carry the commercial offer of TECHNA, including the technical proposal and the commercial conditions.
- Lead the prospection plan defined in collaboration with the Managing Director and visit prospects as defined in the plan (feed mills, integrators, distributors).
- Initiate trials with these prospects, follow up once started, and control that data is thoroughly collected.
- Visit existing customers to entertain our relationship and increase our commercial penetration.
- Identify challenges and propose adapted solutions based on TECHNA products and services to our prospects and customers.
- Keep track of your sales, deliveries, and payments in relation with support services: ordering, supply, inventory management, credit management
MARKETING PRESENCE
Represent the company at various professional events
- Participate to trade fairs to increase TECHNA’s footprint.
- Attend seminars/forums to increase his/her professional skills and network.
Qualifications
Hierarchical link: reporting to Managing Director.
Required skills: 8 to 10 years of experience, autonomy, deep market knowledge, acknowledged network of dairy decision makers, field work enthusiast, good listening and results oriented, problem solver, solution developer, strong follow-up and reporting skills, able to create and manage a prospect budget, proven selling record, experience in additives and value-added products more than commodities.
Geographical area: West and Central India
